Dr. Izarra completed both her Dental Medicine Degree and Postdoctoral Certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Since graduating in 2012, she has enjoyed building relationships with patients and referrals in a private practice setting and sharing her knowledge with the next generation of dentists as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Izarra is originally from Caracas, Venezuela and is fluent in both English and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys traveling to new places, taking barre class, being in the sun, salsa dancing, exploring Atlanta restaurants with her husband, Richard, and visiting family in Miami.
