We are not in network with any insurance company and do not file claims or accept direct payment from them, however we will gladly provide any necessary charting, x-rays etc.. to help you file your claim.
Our insurance coordinators deal with many different insurance companies. Some companies offer many different dental and medical plans. These companies can change benefits, co-pays, and deductibles throughout the year. We do our best to provide you with accurate coverage estimates based on information available to us. At times, it is almost impossible to accurately estimate a patient's insurance co-payment. Many insurance companies will not give out fees until after the treatment is completed. We do everything possible to keep the experience of dealing with these companies from becoming difficult and time consuming for both of us. As a courtesy, we ask that you keep us informed of any change to your insurance. It is important that all information about you and your insurance is current.
Although we do not file a claim directly to your insurance carrier for treatment we have rendered, we will assist you in your submission of your request for benefit payment. We have no relationship with any carriers or plan. Since you have that relationship, we find insurers process claims filed directly by patients are much more responsive than any claim those filed by service providers (dental offices).
Further, most dental insurance policies are limited and often only pay for a portion of the procedure(s) that may need to be done.
When benefits have been predetermined and assigned to us, we may be able to accept only the co-payment as your portion of the financial obligation for the care you are receiving. Each of these arrangements is individual and is confidentially determined appropriate.
HMO/Pre-paid Plan Patients
We do not have any relationships with pre-paid or closed panel dental plans. Though we recognize they can be helpful to certain individuals, we find our comprehensive, conservative philosophy does not fit with those approaches to providing dental services.
MedicareMedicare does not pay for periodontal or implant therapies and we are not a registered Medicare provider.
As a courtesy to our patients with medical and/or dental benefit plans, we will help you submit necessary pre-treatment benefit inquiries, claim forms, receipts, and other information to your insurance company.
Upon receipt of an insurance payment, any balance due will be billed to you. If you have deposited an excessive co-payment, it will be refunded to you.
